Ophiuchus: dates and meaning

The sign almost no one knows yet — and that already defines you.

The Sun passes through Ophiuchus from about November 30 to December 18.

Ophiuchus, the serpent bearer, is the constellation the Sun crosses between Scorpio and Sagittarius. It speaks of healing, transformation and the search for one’s own knowledge. People born with the Sun in Ophiuchus often feel they stand between two worlds, and find their own way of seeing there.

The three stages of Ophiuchus

First stage November 30 to December 5

You're always standing between two worlds, never completely in one. You don't quite fit the expected categories — not completely in one group, not completely in another — and that uncomfortable position ends up being your most valuable point of view. At work, you tend to take on roles that connect areas that normally don't talk to each other.

Second stage December 6 to December 11

You turn what hurt you into the tool you use to help others. You went through something difficult and, instead of avoiding it, transformed it into knowledge useful to anyone going through the same thing — in your relationships, you tend to be the confidant of people who don't find anywhere else to talk about what is happening to them.

Third stage December 12 to December 18

You already know what information to share and what information to protect. You've learned to handle what you know with judgment, neither exposing everything nor hiding everything — in your career, this makes you trustworthy for handling sensitive information, something not every sign manages well.

The dates can shift by a day depending on the year and the time. To know exactly, calculate it with your date of birth.
