The Gregorian calendar imposed 12 uneven months of 28, 30 and 31 days, which don't follow the Moon and start on January 1st by convention, not because of anything happening in the sky. Conventional astrology did the same to the heavens: it split them into 12 equal 30° slices and left out Ophiuchus, the constellation that didn't fit into that count of 12.

How much does Equinox 13 cost?
Calculating your real sign is free. For the complete system there are three monthly subscriptions with the same tools, differing only in readings per month: Starter Plan US$14.99/month (15 readings), Standard Plan US$24.99/month (30 readings) and Pro Plan US$69.00/month (100 readings). Why 13 constellations and not 12 signs?
Because those are the ones the Sun actually crosses in the sky. The 12 equal signs are a convention from over 2000 years ago that no longer matches the real constellations. Equinox 13 works with the exact proportions, Ophiuchus included.
What is Ophiuchus and why does it matter?
It's the constellation the Sun crosses between Scorpio and Sagittarius, the one the 12-sign zodiac left out. If you were born in that window, or you have planets there, your reading changes at the root.
What do I need to get started?
Your name and your date, time and place of birth (for the complete Birth Chart). If you don't have the exact time yet, you can still get started and add it later.
Does this work if I've never read anything about astrology?
Yes. Every reading is written to be understood with no prior knowledge: technical terms get explained on the spot, and everything points back to your concrete life.
Is the interactive Almanac included?
Your charts already use your date in the 13-month Almanac. The complete interactive Almanac, with live classes and guided exercises, is part of Equinox 13 Training (one-time payment). That access stays on your account for good as long as you keep any plan active.
How many readings does the Training include?
In the first month, the same amount you had in your plan (or the Pro Plan's, if this is your first purchase on Equinox 13). After that month, to keep requesting readings you choose any of the other plans — you'll already have everything the Training offers.
How do I log in afterwards?

Are birth chart and natal chart the same thing?
Yes, it's the same concept with two names: a map of the sky at the exact moment you were born. We use both terms on Equinox 13 because that's how people search for it, but it's one single tool — the same chart, built on the 13 real constellations.
